I finally got to play the first episode of this new game called "Life Is Strange" by Dontnod Entertainment. It's one of those cinematic games with moments of choice interactions between the storyline cutscenes. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it since I normally don't play those types of games. i think it reminds me of the game I worked on for my first job - the small team trying to produce a game of comparable quality to that of those huge million dollar projects, the mocap animation, the lead female protagonist, the episodic production. Plus, the game takes place in the pacific northwest, Seattle being one of the cities mentioned in the character's backstory. Anyways, I look forward to playing the next episodes as they are released.
