Keep It Calm, And Be Patient

I created this little animation to test the performance of my new laptop, particularly when running Photoshop and the AnimDessin2 plugin.  The plugin is pretty awesome and I would recommend it to any aspiring or casual animator, especially if you like using Photoshop drawing tools over Flash.  It makes it convenient enough to animate in Photoshop with the ability to move, scale, and insert frames.

So my laptop finally died... after about four years.  It got me this far since my senior year of college.  I noticed it was getting significantly slower over the past months.   I'm still waiting for my new laptop, it's been about a week now... but lately I've been taking this time away from the computer to draw and write out more ideas for my comic (that I am still working on).  I hope to finalize the main ideas this month and then work down to the sub-material afterwards.  I'm also planning to animate parts of the comic into gifs, so I've been practicing drawing the main characters.   Stay tuned, it'll be a while before it's officially ready.

Oh and how I uploaded this... new phone I got over Christamas break.

Some sketches from Mexico.  I was there with a friend last week visiting the Yucatan Peninsula.  We went to Cancun, Valladolid, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, and Isa Mujeres.  All for very cheap because of usd/peso exchange rate.
