Back and Forth

Here are some watercolor sketches I did during my trip around the northwest and was able to post to Tumblr with my phone, but not to my blog since my reception kept going in an out during the trip.

The Bug

So I’ll be on a the road for the next week, taking a trip to Yellowstone and back. It’ll be a nice time to reset, assess things in my life, and just clear my head. So, I’m looking forward to all the time spent traveling away from California. My friend is driving 5 of us in his dad’s camper, so it’ll be that American experience I never grew up with, haha. We are currently stopped at an RV site in Winnemucca, NV, a small casino town full of bikers. I like how small it is too - there’s not much to do except walk around, but I kinda like that. Tomorrow is another 8 hour drive to the edge of Yellowstone. Maybe I’ll post sketches I do along the way, it really depends on my phone’s reception.

Last Time

So, when folks talk about getting their first tattoo, they always mention the pain, or people fainting… but no one ever mentions the intense itching that comes with it afterwards!… like, how it gets all scabby and flaky with dead skin, and how you’re not allowed to scratch it, but only slap it instead!  This is fair warning for anyone thinking of getting one… the itching last days!

Staring The Goal Down

Mom, I totally forgot to post this rough animation I did... of you... yesterday!  Well, I made my call, but Happy Mother's Day (again)...

Now updated with slow-mo version so you can dissect the in-betweens and maybe get a clearer idea of what goes on in animation.

Bountiful Luck

Well, I guess you are in for a treat, because I was only allowed to post 10 of these on Tumblr due to the image limit per post.  SO, there are nine extra images on here you get to see!  Blogspot high-five!

Whoops

I forgot to post this from last week!  I always post on Tumblr first and frequently forget to post here right after.  Anyways, I made this image in celebration of the release of Broken Age!  The entire game is finally done and the reviews have been mostly positive (with a few internet rage trolls here and there... but that is expected).
